Distinctive Patios

             One of the best ways to civilize your yard is to add a patio or a landscape deck area.  With the addition of either you will soon be escaping to the outdoors every possible chance that you have. If you build a patio, your summers will be filled with breezy afternoons, outdoor meals and relaxing warm evenings.

            The ideal patio should be large enough for entertaining but comfortable and private enough for everyday family use.  A patio could be the focal point of the back yard or a cozy area next to a pool. But some of the nicest patios are placed in the center of perennial gardens. Were ever you patio is placed it should be visible from multiple areas within your home.

            Natural stone, flagstone, brick, tile and paving stones are the most common materials used in the construction of patios.  Scapes Landscaping installs them all.  We also rebuild, add on or modify existing patios to give an old design new character and appeal.

            Scapes Landscaping also incorporates the new retaining wall materials into its patio designs in an effort to produce truly unique designs that take advantage of your property's topography.  Mixing pavers and walls stones in a design is called "paver quilting."
